WESTVILLE - Florence Marion “Florie” Darroch, 97, of West Street, Westville passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 in Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow. Born in Westville, she was a daughter of the late Daniel L. and Edna (MacLeod) Stewart, Westville. She is survived by sisters Helen Connors, New Glasgow; Alice Wilson (Purdy), Riverview, N.B. and Edna Lauchlin, Simcoe, Ont.; special niece, Heather Dunbar, Minto, N.B. and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Allan “Allie” Darroch; brothers, Victor, Basil, Alvin, and John Stewart ; sisters, Annie Wright, Margaret Darroch, Susie Stewart, Gladys Forbes, and Mary Wallace. There will be no visitations. Her funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with the Rev. Doug Pilsworth officiating. Burial will be in St. Phillips Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Paul United Church or to a charity of one’s choice.
