Passed peacefully away on Thursday, October 9, 2014, at the age of 86. Predeceased by his parents: Edward and Martha, brother: Revelyn, sisters: Evelyn Hurley and Jean Derroch and baby Parsons, brother-in-law: Bert Taylor, sister-in-law: Alma Crann. Left to mourn his wife of 65 years: Mabel (nee Crann), children: Edward (Leona), Carol (Wayne), Sheila, Margaret (Bruce), Herb Jr. (Jackie), Terri-Lynn (Fred). Herbert also leaves to mourn 20 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and his sister: Joan Snow, brother-in-law: Art Crann, sister-in-law: Julie Taylor, as well as extended family and friends. The family also extends a huge thank you to the staff at the Health Science Complex, 4 South B and the staff at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, 4th Floor. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held at the Salvation Army Citadal, Adams Avenue on Monday, October 13, 2014 at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place at a later date. No Flowers by request.
