Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Friday, October 10, 2014, Catherine Taylor of Harbour Grace, age 97 years. Predeceased by husband: Charles; sons: Norman, James and Herman; daughter: Verna Farrell; son-in-law: William H. Pike; brother: Theodore and sisters: Margaret, Rose and Jessie. Leaving to mourn, three daughters: Minnie Pike, Harbour Grace, Helen (Norman) Hennifent, North River and Linda (Silas) Penney, Carbonear; son: Edward (Irene), Harbour Grace; son-in-law: Bill Farrell, Harbour Grace; daughter-in-law: Betty Taylor, Victoria; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Friday from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
