We, the family of Mary Anne Doyle wish to express our sincerest thanks to family and friends who were there to comfort us in the loss of a great wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Thanks to the Management and Staff of the Northside Guest Home for her care the past few years, to the Nurses who formed a Guard of honor at her funeral, the choir of St. Joseph’s Parish, Andrew Doyle, Lucy, Stewart MacNeil and Kimberley Fraser for the beautiful hymns and music which she and Leo cherished and supported throughout her lifetime. Thank you to Father Patrick O’Neill and Father Jake Andrea for the beautiful Mass of Remembrance. To the readers, Walter Ichikawa Doyle of Japan, Mara Doyle of Edmonton; and John C. MacMillan, the many nursing friends and family from all parts of Canada; To the Funeral team for the lovely lunch. To fulfill Mary Anne’s wishes, her body was donated to Science and a Ceilidh was held that evening for family and friends at the Firemen’s Club. Thanks to each of you who brought food to our homes sent expressions of sympathy by e-mail, phone calls, memorial donations to various organizations in Mary Anne’s memory. Special thanks to the staff of W.J. Dooley Funeral Home for their compassion and professionalism.
