A graveside memorial service for Michael Parker MacDonald, 66, of Halifax, formerly of North Sydney, will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, at Lakeside Cemetery, North Sydney with Diane Kempt officiating.
Michael passed away Friday, Aug. 15, 2014, in Halifax, he was a son of Jeanne (Regan) MacDonald and the late Byron MacDonald.
Michael is survived by his mother Jeanne, a brother Hugh, both of Halifax, nephews Bill, John, Michael and David, a special Aunt Mary MacKenzie and many cousins.
Michael was predeceased by his brother John MacDonald.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant St., North Sydney.
