Passed peacefully away on October 14, 2014, at the age of 91, Jessie Churchill, of Portugal Cove. Predeceased by husband Kenneth Churchill (2001). Leaving to mourn sons Marshall (Myrtle), Fraser (Sherry), Campbell (Elizabeth); 5 grandchildren Renee Strong (Dennis), Kurt Churchill, Jordan Churchill, Jessica Churchill, and Kristen Churchill; 2 great grandchildren Carter Strong and Leah Strong; friend Louise Picco; sisters in-law Edith Churchill, Betsy Darco, Mollie Moores; brother in-law Steve D'Arco; and other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Thursday, October 16 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., and Friday, October 17 from 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17 at 2 p.m. from Memorial United Church, Portugal Cove. Interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery on Bauline Line.
