Passed peacefully away at Dr. A. A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican on Sunday, October 12, 2014, Walter J. English of Job's Cove, age 100 years. Predeceased by wife: Johanna; parents: Tom and Mary; brothers: Dennis (Madeline) and Leo (Freda); sisters: Annie (Will), Molly (Thomas), Kathleen and Martha (Jerry). Left to mourn, daughter: Kathleen, Job’s Cove; three grandchildren: Dan (Sue), Carleen and Jim (Brenda); seven great-grandchildren: Michael, Amy, Sarah, Millisa, Josh, Andrew and Kenda; seven great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law: Theresa Murphy, Corner Brook; special nieces: Elizabeth Dregar and Bride English; many other nieces and nephews; special friend and caregiver: Rose Oliver; also a number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Fr. Cesar Derit conducted the Funeral Mass on Tuesday, October 14 at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Northern Bay.
