We, the family, regret to announce the passing of Sharon MacDonald, on Oct. 22, 2014 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, in the arms of her loving husband.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Augustus and Blanche (MacNamara) Wareham.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Joseph 'Ted' MacDonald; sons, Todd (Michelle) Forbes and Darren Forbes (Jenny Minter); sisters, Monica, Rita (Alfie) Nash and Joyce (Gary) Murphy; also brothers, Philip (Linda) Wareham, Joseph, and Gordon (Phyllis) Wareham; two precious granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Serina Forbes and one precious grandson, Jack Minter. Sharon is also survived by her mother-in-law, Thelma MacLeod.
Besides her parents, Sharon was predeceased by her sister, Elizabeth Wareham.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the SW Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney. With Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating
