VAUTOUR, DIANE ALICE - Diane A. Vautour, 58, of Moncton, passed away upon arrival at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, October 22, 2014. Born in Grand Falls, she was the daughter of the late Willard and Gertrude (Ferlotte) Poitras. Diane was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and formerly attended St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church. An avid reader, she also enjoyed attending karaoke with her husband and friends and spending time with her family, especially with her granddaughter, Samantha. Diane will be sadly missed by her husband of over 34 years, Robert “Bob” Vautour, of Moncton; son, Matthew Vautour (Adrienne) of Halifax, NS; granddaughter, Samantha MacDonald of Saint John; aunt, Ella Mabie of Moncton and uncle, Joe Ferlotte of Sudbury, ON; grand nephew, Weston Algee-Battle of Philadelphia and several extended family members. She will also be sadly missed by her four legged babies, Toby, Sunshine, Mika, Spencer and Lacey.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and Monday from 10:00 to 10:45 am. A service celebrating Diane’s life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 11:00 am with Rev. Phil Mulligan officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. In Diane’s memory, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Friends of The Moncton Hospital or a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
