Passed peacefully away Wednesday, March 19th, retired Marine Atlantic employee Michael J. Dalton age 74 years of Cape Broyle. Predeceased by his parents John and Hannah; sisters Esther (Hetty) Walsh, and Joan (the late Peter Leeds); brothers Cyril and James. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Madonna (Croft); daughters Hannah (Paul Dowden), Hedy (Wayne Kenny), Jean Anne (Barry Kavanagh), Maureen (Robert Nimz) and Mary (Sandy oates); grandchildren Matthew, Michael, Sarah, Noelle, Kyle, Nathan, Mikayla, Benjamin, Aaron and Andrew; sisters Margaret (Austin Ryan), Bride (the late Alan MacLean), Ella (the late Fred Erwin); brothers Bren (Eileen), Edward (Gert); brother-in-law George Croft (Marg); sisters-in-law Jean Payne (David), Eleanor Powell (Sandy), Esther Barrett (Richard); many nieces and nephews and a wide circle of friends, including Mrs. Maggie's card club. Resting at Fahey's Funeral Home in Fermeuse. Visitation from 2-9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday.
