Passed away at Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital on October 21, 2014, Leon Ivany of English Harbour, Trinity Bay, in his 88th year. Predeceased by his wife, Louise, sister Elna Sheppard and brothers Earl and George. Left with fond memories are his children Carol (Max Barrett), Bill (Valerie), Sherry (Junior Canning), grandchildren Allyssa, Gary, Lauralee, Lorne and Zoe, his sister, Alice Ralph and a large circle of relatives and friends. Funeral service was held at the United Church, English Harbour, with internment at the United Church cemetery in English Harbour. In his memory, donations may be made to the English Harbour United Church Building Fund or a charity of your choice.
