The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009, of Marjorie Helena Conrad, of Wellington, aged 72 years. Born in Summerside, she was the daughter of the late Garfield and Eva (MacAusland) Day. Survived by her children, Patsy (Glenn) McNeill, Richmond; Karen (Ernest) Newcombe, Birch Hill; Wayne (Karen), Stratford; Brian (Karen), Summerside; Kevin (Pam), Summerside and Rick (Peter), Halifax; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Neta MacCaull, brother, Gordon (Pat) Day, and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Bruce Reginald Conrad, sisters, Linda MacIntosh, and Blanche Howatt, brothers-in-law, Ray Howatt and Sherman MacCaull, and by a nephew, Darren MacIntosh. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Thursday, then to the Wellington United Church, for funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment in Hillside Cemetery, Wellington. Visiting hours Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Hillside Cemetery or the Oncology Unit of the Prince County Hospital would be appreciated.
