The largely attended funeral for the late Genevieve ‘Debbie’ Chisholm was held on October 7, 2014 at Holy Redeemer Church, Whitney Pier. The family would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to our extended family, friends and neighbours who showed support to us during our time of loss. Thank you to the pallbearers, altar servers, gift bearers, readers and those who sent Mass and sympathy cards, flowers, prayers, charitable donations, food, phone calls, emails and condolences. We would like to convey our sincerest gratitude to Father Paul Murphy and to the Holy Redeemer Choir for a personal and uplifting celebration of life. Mom would have been so pleased. We offer our sincere appreciation to William Laurie and the staff at the Pier Community Funeral Home for their kindness and professionalism. Thank you to Rose Conohan, for catering the reception and Rose Anne and Tony Penny for their gracious hospitality and family dinner following the ceremony. We will never forget your thoughtfulness during this difficult time.
