We, the family of the late George Freeman MacKenzie, wish to express our sincere thanks to the many people who shared in our great loss and sorrow. Thank you to all who visited, called, sent flowers, cards, food and monetary gifts as well as charitable donations in George’s memory and to those who travelled across Canada to be with us, thank you. We will never forget the outpouring of support and kindness. To EHS and CBRM Police, your compassion and support was greatly appreciated during the initial hours of George’s passing. To Rev. Donald MacDonald, your numerous visits with George’s Mother and family brought so much comfort to us and to Newsom choir for playing some of our favorite hymns, we thank you. Finally, to Kenny and his staff at VJ MacGillivray Funeral Home for your compassion and caring shown to all of us, especially George’s children, we sincerely thank you.
