Born to Adele Allouette and Frank Gentile May 3, 1919 in Sydney.
Met Roy Wadge (Navy soldier), while volunteering at a dance during the Second World War. Married on Jan. 5, 1944 for 66 years until Roy died in 2010.
Dear sister to Normie (Lucy), Rusty (Betty) and sister-in-law, Jean.
Predeceased by brothers, Victor, Humbert (Marion), Bill (Jimmy), Frank (Annie), Lovell and Arthur.
Loved mother of Joann Wadge (Brian Katz), and Sue Wadge.
Proud grandmother of Aviva, Heather and Megan.
Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, Delta United Church, co-volunteers, staff, families and cancer patients, in her past homes: Sydney, Montreal, Hamilton and Manitoulin Island.
Cremation with no service was her request, however, a family and friends gathering in her honour is in the planning for the summer of 2015.
