CUNNINGHAM, Wanda Faye – 48, Yarmouth, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at home. Born September 19, 1966 in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of Eileen (Chetwynd) Cunningham, Chebogue, and the late Wayne Cunningham. Wanda had been an employee at the Yarmouth Superstore for the past eight years. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, walks with her dog, traveling to Maine to visit her sister Judy and taking pictures. Aside from her mother, Eileen, she is survived by her loving son, Tyler Cunningham, Yarmouth, as well as by sisters, Heather (Peter) LeBlanc, Kentville; Darlene (Mike) Peterson, Fort St. John, BC and Judy (Scott) Canney, Maine; a brother, Wayne (Michelle) Cunningham, Fort St. John, BC; her special friend, Victor Harrington; a niece and many nephews, and her beloved dog, Lola. Aside from her father, Wayne, she was predeceased by nephews, Stephen and Andrew LeBlanc, as well as by a brother-in-law, Brian Roberts. In accordance with the family’s wishes, there was no public visitation and cremation took place. A memorial service was held at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, October 29 at H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth, Rev. Mr. Stephen Bourque officiated. Interment followed in the Chebogue Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice or to the Stephen LeBlanc Memorial Award (through the Community Foundation of Nova Scotia).
