Words cannot fully express our appreciation to all our family and friends who supported us through Dad’s lengthy illness and at the time of his passing. We are truly grateful for all the phone calls, hospital visits, sympathy cards, Mass cards, memorial donations, food, monetary gifts, fruit baskets and flowers. Your thoughtfulness will always be remembered. Thank you to everyone who attended the Church service, Fr. Patrick O’Neill, St. Joseph’s Church Choir, Readers-grandchildren, Stephanie Boutilier, Jesse and Dana Baxendale, offertory gifts- J.D. Ramsay and Molly Baxendale, members of the Canadian Legion Br. 12, for the beautiful military tribute, and to Dana, for playing “The Last Post”, staff of Victoria Park for the Bagpiper- an amazing send off for Dad. He would be so proud. Thank you to the Funeral Reception Committee for the lovely tea and luncheon after the service. A special thank you to all the nurses, health professionals and support staff for their exceptional care in ICU, IMCU and on Unit 4B. You became extended family to Dad and to us. We are forever grateful to the specialists, who never gave up hope- Dr. Ansari, Dr. Wilkes and Dr. Ritter. To Dr. Grey Myatt, an “unbelievable” family physician and friend to Dad, he loved you and we will never forget you compassion. We are so thankful to Danny Campbell and his staff of Dooley’s Funeral Home, for your guidance, kindness and professionalism. We will always remember the kind and wonderful people who treated Dad with respect and who helped our families in so many ways. Our Dad, Joe, is now reunited with our Mom, the love of his life, Margaret Roberta (Lyle), who passed away November 1, 1998- May they Rest in Peace.
