CHIASSON, DOUGLAS - 1940 - 2014 - Douglas Chiasson, 74, of Moncton, NB, passed away on Thursday, October 30th, 2014, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton, NB. Born in Cheticamp, NS, he was the son of the late Clarence and the late Beatrice (née: Gaudet) Chiasson. Mr. Chiasson was a member of Notre-Dame-de-la Paix parish. He is survived by his wife, Gisele (née: Aucoin); two daughters: Nicole (Danny) Simpson and Claire (Mark) Kerkoff, both of Moncton; one son, Albert (Lucie Mercure) of Saint-Basil; two sisters: Thérèse (Lionel) LeBlanc of Toronto, ON and Mathilda (Jim) Tatem of Dallas, TX; one brother, Leonard (Charmaine) of Sydney, NS; 4 grandchildren: Alexandre (Stephanie), Michael, Gabriel and Caroline, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of the Word will be celebrated from Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901), on Saturday, November 8th, 2014 at 10 am.
