Mildred Taylor
TAYLOR, MILDRED - It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Mildred Emma (nee Carter) Taylor, 85, of Salisbury, and formerly of The Glades, at the Moncton City Hospital on October 30, 2014. Born in The Glades, Mildred was a daughter of the late George and Violet (nee Paynter) Carter and the loving wife of the late George Taylor. Mildred is survived by her two daughters: Valerie (Stuart) Colpitts of Middlesex and Nancy Lewis (Robert Lane) of Salisbury; five grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one step-great-granddaughter, one great-great-grandson and two step-great-great-grandsons; two sisters: Jean (Jack) Watson of Mississauga, ON, and Thelma Johnson of Riverview; her brothers: Fred (Theresa) Carter of Riverview, and William (Sandra) Carter of Sussex; her best friend and neighbor of fifty years Marilyn Colpitts; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Besides her parents and husband, Mildred was predeceased by her sister Eileen Hill and her brothers Roy, Richard and Gordon Carter.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Armstrong’s Funeral Home, 33 Russell Street, Petitcodiac, NB, (506)756-3361, from where visitation will be held on Monday, November 3, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 11:00am in the Armstrong’s Funeral Home Chapel . Interment will be held in The Glades Baptist Cemetery.
