It is with great sadness that the family of Dennis Joseph Kerfont announce his sudden passing on Thursday, Oct 23, 2014 at the age of 58 years. Predeceased by his daughter Melissa, parents William & Elsie Kerfont, and siblings Patrick, Mabel, and Bill. Dennis was loved greatly and will be mourned deeply by his wife Diann; step-daughters Lori Ann and Jennifer; step-grandchildren Jordon, Daniel, and Lexi; Mother & Father-in-law Gertie and Ray White; 14 siblings - Mike, George (Mary), Alex (Millie), Alside (Charlotte), Calvin, Louis, Ethel, Julia (Charles), Mary (Ben), Bride (Bill), Lillian (Bernard), Elizabeth (Victor), Nancy, Anita (Gerard); a large circle of sisters & brothers in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and hundreds of coworkers & friends. Resting & Visitation will take place in two locations: Fillatre’s Funeral Home in Deer Lake, NL on Saturday, Nov. 1st from 7:30 – 9:00 pm. Our Lady of the Cape Church in Cape St. George, NL on Sunday, Nov 2nd from 2 pm - 4:00 pm & 7 pm - 9 pm. Funeral Service will take place on Monday, Nov 3rd at Our Lady of the Cape Church in Cape St. George, NL at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at the Catholic Cemetery in Marche’s Point. In Dennis’ memory, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations can be made to the Cape St George Cemetery Fund (by contacting Delia Costard at 709-644-2080).
