Entered into eternal rest at St. Patrick's Mercy Home, on Saturday, November 1, 2014, Anastasia (Annie) Hayward, of St. Vincent's, St. Mary's Bay, aged 103 years. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Elizabeth Daley, sister Mary Margaret (Mae), brothers Daniel and Austin. She is now also reunited with her husband Joseph, son Michael and sons-in-law Ronald Johnson and Richard Gibbons. To her children she leaves many precious and treasured memories. She will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by her daughters: Elizabeth and husband Cyril Stamp, St. Vincent's, with whom she lived with for 34 years, Mary Gibbons, Ottawa, Magdalen and husband Donald Greene, St. Joseph's and Theresa Johnson, Paradise, son Frank and wife Anne, St. Stephen's and daughter-in-law Sandra Hayward, Fredericton, NB. She will be dearly missed, but forever remembered by her 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many relatives and friends. A special thank you is extended to her caregivers and special friends at St. Patrick's Mercy Home. Resting at Fr. Battcock Memorial Chapel, St. Vincent's, on Tuesday, November 4, from 7 - 9pm and Wednesday, November 5, 10am - 12pm; 2 - 4pm; 7 - 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 6, at 11am, at Sacred Heart Church, St. Vincent's. Burial to follow.
