STAIRS, ROBERT CLAIR - Robert C. Stairs of Islandview, NB passed away on November 5, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Robert was born at Lower Woodstock, NB in 1945, a son of Elsie (Dougherty) Stairs and the late Albert Stairs. He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Pool (Marcel); two grandsons, Riley Robinson and George Pool; his mother, Elsie Stairs; a sister, Deborah Lofstrom (Brian); six brothers, Alton (Donna), Earl (Sharon), Eugene (Mary Jane), Hugh (Deanna), Junior (Elaine) and David (Chris); several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his father Albert, he was predeceased by a sister, Shirley Bamford.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Saturday, November 8, 2014 from 1 to 2 pm, followed by the funeral service at 2 pm. with Rev. Jeff Crabtree officiating. Interment at Temperance Vale Cemetery.
