Passed peacefully in his own home after a short but courageous battle with cancer, and surrounded by his family, Edward Robert Escott, aged 70 years. Predeceased by his parents, William Escott and Florence Escott; siblings: Bill Escott and Dorothy King; and daughter, Jackie Escott. Leaving to mourn his wife, Louise; son, Edward (Shirley); and daughters: Mary (Veronica) and Colleen; step-daughters: Sherry Pearce (Bobby), Gayle Young (Gordon) and Kimberley Snow; as well as close grand-children: Jason, Connor and Keira Pearce; two sisters: Ethel Brennan (Walt) and Gertrude Brennan (Bill); and special nieces: Florence Jordan and Doreen Bailey (Gary); as well as a large circle of extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held from Barrett's Funeral Chapel on Monday, November 10, 2014, at 2:00pm.
