Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Friday, March 21, 2008, Elizabeth D. Kelloway of Salmon Cove, age 94 years. Predeceased by her husband: William J.; daughters Marion and Mary L O'Connell; sons-in-law: Harold O'Connell, Melvin Rose and Chesley Slade; sisters-in-law Lillian McCarthy and Edith Moores; brother-in-law: Eugene Kelloway. Leaving to mourn four daughters: Eliza Slade and Effie Rose, both of Salmon Cove, Edith (Samuel) Parsons, St. John's and Jean (Walter) Smith, Mount Pearl; one son: William (Joan), Salmon Cove; twenty-three grandchildren: Sharon (Herb), Keith (Leisa), Barry (Sandra), Harvey (Debbie), Sherrie (Marlowe), Ceanne (Desmond), Glen, Pamela (Alan), Melanie (Kenneth), Billy (Donna), Lisa (Brent), Harry, Gina (David), Gail (Wilfred), Adele (Tom), Bradley (Pamela), Renee (Craig), Scott (Lorna), Heather, Harold, Marion (Dana), William (Anita) and Elizabeth Anne (Craig); a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Mary Cole, Victorian Manor, Victoria, and special friend: Gwen White, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear until 12 noon Monday, March 24. Funeral service at 2 p.m. from Riverside United Church and Cemetery, Salmon Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Riverside United Church Accessibility Fund. Visitation hours at Noel's Funeral Home are 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon, 2 to 5 p.m., 7 to 9:30 p.m. daily.
