GORMLEY, JOHN EVERETT – It is with heavy hearts the family of John E. Gormley announce his passing, which occurred on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Passamaquoddy Lodge, St. Andrews, NB. Born in Saint John, he was a son of the late William and Marie (Meunier) Gormley. He will be missed by his former wife and friend, Elizabeth Gormley; children, David Gormley of Montreal, Andrea Gormley (John Sproull) of Ottawa, ON, Michael Gormley (Thanh Vu) of BC, Daniel Gormley of Toronto, Linda McNulty (Brian) of BC; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Kenneth and Donald Gormley; a sister, Avia Duggan; and several extended family members. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, William and Leo Gormley and a sister, Marg Titus.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7474). In keeping with John’s wishes, no formal visitation or funeral service will be held. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at St. Joseph’s Cemetery on Monday, November 10, 2014 at 1:00 pm.
