LeBLANC, LEONA - (1921-2014) - It was with great sadness that we bid farewell to our dear mother, Leona LeBlanc, wife of the late Hébert LeBlanc (1980) who passed away peacefully on November 9th, 2014 at Pro-Tem Home in Moncton. Formerly from McLeod on the North Shore she was born in McKendrick (Val d'Amour) the daughter of the late Willie LeBlanc and the late Julia Brideau. She is survived by six daughters: Yvette (Guy) of Legal, AB, Cecile (Norm) Calgary, AB, Florine (Louis Émile) St. Louis, NB, Ginette (Ken) Hudson's Bay, SK, Jeanne (Wade) Shediac, NB, Marielle (Randall) Toronto, ON and by five sons: Louis (Simonne) Dieppe, NB, Hector (Judy) Riverview, NB, Yvon (France) Dieppe, NB, Claude (Shanneen) Prince George, BC and Clement (Ruby) Coteau du Lac, QC. She is also survived by two sisters: Rina (late Réal Maltais) and Doris (late Antonio Savoie) and by two sisters-in-law Anna (late Willie) and Thérèse (late Bernard) as well as Gladys LeBlanc from Trois Rivières, QC. She will be greatly missed by her 14 grandchildren and her 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitations will be at Maher's Funeral Home, 33 Lansdowne, Campbellton, NB, on November 12, from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm; a funeral mass will be celebrated November 13th at 10 am at Marie Reine Catholic Church in Richardsville, NB. The family will receive friends and family after the service. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice will be appreciated.
