YOUNG, E. ISOBEL - Isobel Young, loving wife of the late John Allan Young, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 7th, 2014 at Kennebec Manor. Born in Royalton, NB on June 14th, 1925 she was a daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Crawford) Owens. Isobel was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She worked for the Royal Bank, and was an active member of First Wesleyan Church. She is survived by her sons David (Winnie) of St. John’s NL, Stephen (Lori) of Saint John, Paul (Deborah) of Houghton, NY and Andrew (Paulette) of Saint John, 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. Saint John (646-2424) with visitation on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from the First Wesleyan Church, 399 Boar’s Head Rd. on Thursday, November 13th at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
