It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of a beautiful women, Bridget Carroll. Bridget passed away suddenly on November, 12 at the Dr. Walter Templeman Hospital on Bell Island. Predeceased by her parents Herbert and Rosemary; sisters Annie and Mary; brothers James, Gerald, Ned, Herb and Lewis; Leaving to mourn her devoted husband Bernard, son Bernard (Jennifer), granddaughters, Samantha and Victoria and special nephew Tommy (daughter Chelsey). Also leaving to mourn Syl (Nadine), Marg (Ray), Kathleen (Pete), Betty, Sadie, Liz, Dot, Mike (Alexis), Ed (Lil), Jim (Helen), Vera, Florence, Agnes, Betty, Mollie and a very large circle of family and friends. Resting at Pendergast`s Funeral Home. Visiting hours are Saturday and Sunday 2-4, and 6-9. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 17, at St. Michael`s Church, Bell Island at 11 am, followed by a gathering at the parish hall. Special thanks to the very diligent staff at the Dr. Walter Templeman Hospital and Pendergast`s Funeral Home, as well as the dedicated members of the St. Michael's Church Bereavement Team. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations can be made in Bridget`s memory to St. Michael`s Parish, Bell Island.
