Passed peacefully into the presence of the Lord at the Health Science Complex Thursday morning November 13th, 2014, in his 86th year. Predeceased by sons: Victor and Henry; parents Job and Jane; sisters: Virginia and Vera as well as a number of brothers and sisters-in-law. Leaving to mourn wife and best friend of 67 years, Bertha (nee Morgan); three children: Wilbur (Holly), Virginia Jean (Walter) Soper, and Perry (Marsheline); six grandchildren: Michelle (Steve), Venetta (Will), Lorraine (Jonathan), Heather (Jason), Candice, and Taylor; four great grandchildren: CeeJay, Mackenzie, Ethan, and Cage; sister Ruth in New York; three sisters-in-law: Ada, Grace, and Frances. Also Trudy Woodrow his wonderful home support worker. Also left with many cherished memories a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday November 15th and Sunday November 16th, 2014 from 2 pm - 4 pm and 7 pm - 9 pm. Funeral service will take place at Elim Pentecostal Tabernacle, Kenmount Road on Monday November 17th, 2014 at 1 pm. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
