Noel Caissie
CAISSIE, NOËL - Noël Caissie, 73, of Dieppe and formerly of Fraser Avenue in Moncton, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on December 25, 1940 in Saint-Antoine, he was the son of the late Edouard and Dorilla (Léger) Caissie. Prior to his retirement, Noël worked at A1 Enterprises as a handyman. He was a member of the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Knights of Columbus and the Fish and Wildlife Association. He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jeannita (Bourque) and two daughters, Linda of Fredericton and Janice of Dieppe. He is also survived by his sisters and brothers: Gérard (Alice), Simonne Gallant (Joseph) and Dorilla Richard (Roger), all of Saint-Antoine; Bernice Waters (Ken) of Dieppe, Jeanne-Mance Hébert (Joseph) and Fernande Caissie, both of Bouctouche; Maria Saulnier (Rhéal) of Sainte-Marie; several nieces and nephews as well as his dogs: Mia and Mabel. He was predeceased by one brother, Clarence, and one goddaughter, Jocelyne Nowlan.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Roman Catholic Church, 854 Mountain Road, Moncton on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 10:30 am.
