We, the family of the late Blair Wadden, who passed away October 15, 2014, would like to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all our relatives, friends, neighbours and co-workers for their love and support during our recent loss. A sincere thank you to those who expressed their sympathy through cards, on-line condolences, phone calls, visits, charitable donations in Blair’s memory and attending the wake and funeral. To those who travelled from out of town to be with us, brought food to our home, sent flowers or thought of us during this stressful time, but were unable to attend. To Blair’s Angels from Palliative Care your love and compassion allowed Blair to remain at home during his illness. To the Glace Bay Fire Department thank you for the Honour Guard at both the wake and funeral, Blair would have been so proud. To Dr. Dias Blair’s family doctor, Dr. Jenson and staff, Palliative Care, V.O.N., nurses and staff of third floor Glace Bay Health Care Complex your care and compassion was greatly appreciated. A special thank you to Rev. Vernon Reid for the beautiful service celebrating Blair’s life, Kaye McInnis, the pallbearers Walter Kelly, Dennis Lever, Hector Gouthro, Jamie MacDonald, Allie Weyman and David Wadden, the ladies of St. Mary’s Church for the lovely reception following the service and V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home and Staff your kindness and professionalism during this difficult time was greatly appreciated.
