JONES, Cluny R.– 70, Dartmouth, NS, passed away peacefully at the Dartmouth General Hospital on January 7, 2009. Cluny was born in Wesleyville, NL on June 23, 1938. He was the son of the late Sidney and Mary Ann Jones. Left to mourn are sons: Warren (Gisele), Edmonton, Wilfred (Heather), Dartmouth, grandchildren: Brian, Derek, Alicia, MacKenzie, Nicholas, and special niece Donna Sooley (Herbert), Dartmouth, brothers, Jabez (Eva), NL, and George (Lillian), ON, sister, Louise Gowler, Illinois, and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his companion, Vivian Hickey, Dartmouth, brother, John, Maine and sisters, Priscilla Richardson, NL, Emeline Adamson, NS and Pearl Jones, SC. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Halifax Regional Crematorium, N.S. Burial to take place in NL at a later date. Donations can be made in Cluny’s memory to the CNIB.
