Martha Reid, formerly of Chapel Arm, passed peacefully away at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook on Thursday, November 20 at 91 years of age. She is predeceased by her husband Chesley Reid; children: Clement, Marion and Sammy; brother Samuel; parents William and Trephenia Cooper. Left with many fond and loving memories are her children: Yvonne (Paul) Greenberg, Manassas, Virginia; Anne (Bernard) Keating, Corner Brook; Wayne (Carol) Bay Roberts; Vernon (Bong) Glace Bay, NS; grandchildren: Darryl (Debbie) Keating, Manassas, Virginia; Nelson (Jerry Lynn) Reid, St. Catharines, Ontario; Michelle Keating (Dwayne Bond) Corner Brook; Natacha Reid, London, Ontario; Pamela (Michael) Casey, Halifax; Nadine (Patrick) Russell, Medicine Hat, Alberta; great grandchildren: Christopher (Natasha Torrell), David, Joshua, Stone, Wenona Reid, London, Ontario; Tyler Reid, St. Catharines, Ontario; Willow and Jasper Casey, Halifax, NS; Kurtis, Jaxx, Deagen Russell, Medicine Hat; great-great grandson Dominic Torrell, London, Ontario and a large number of nieces and nephews; sister Marion Butt; sisters-in-law: Genevieve Parrott, Alma Reid, Hannah Reid. Visitation at St. John the Baptist Church in Chapel Arm Sunday 2 - 4 pm November 23. Funeral service at 2 pm Monday November 24. Internment to follow at the cemetery in Chapel Arm.
