NOSEWORTHY, Greta Verna (nee Reid) – March 10, 1921 - January 9, 2009. Passed peacefully away on January 9, 2009 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, Greta V. Noseworthy, age 87 years. Predeceased by husband Clarence and a number of brothers, sisters and other family members. Leaving to mourn with treasured memories are daughter Marilyn and son Herbert; cherished grandchildren: Kimberley (Paul) Gosse, Krista Davis and Ryan Noseworthy; great-grandchildren: Joshua and Nicholas Gosse; sister-in-law Elizabeth Reid; special family members: Dorothy Noseworthy and Flora Noseworthy; special neighbors Sim and Maxine Wentzell; also a large number of nieces, nephews, family, friends and special friends at the Ruby Manor. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl on Sunday, January 11, 2009 from 2- 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held from Barrett’s Chapel, 73 Commonwealth Avenue on Monday, January 12, 2009 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
