Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on November 26, 2014, Emmie Floyde Mercer, age 88, formerly of Shearstown. Predeceased by daughters Jean Tilley and Debbie Mercer, and their father James Mercer, and grandson Jason Tilley. Leaving to mourn her children: Susan Webber, Mavis (C.J.), Don (Kathy), Ruth Wadland (Bob), Donna, and Wayne (Karen); 14 grandchildren: Nancy, Frankie, Donnie, Kerri, Jerry, Jeff, Jennifer, Terry, Krystal, Curt, Shana, Robert, David, and Riley; 20 great-grandchildren; special friends Daphne Mercer and Angela Stone; as well as many other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday and from 2-4 pm. And 7-9 p.m. on Friday. Funeral Service to take place at 2:00 p.m on Saturday, November 29, 2014 from Barrett's Mount Pearl Chapel. Cremation to follow.
