It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of a very special brother, Terrance Covin, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, on Tuesday, Nov 25, 2014.
He was born in Cheticamp, Nov. 27, 1959, to the late Ernest and Josephine Covin.
Terry is survived by his siblings, Cassie (Brian) Covin, Sydney, Patricia Covin, Sydney, Charlotte (Allie) Ley, East Bay, Evangline (Robert) Crane, Sydney, Hubert (Sandra) Covin Sydney and Leo (Josephine) Covin, Red Deer, Alta. Terry will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Terry was predeceased by brothers, Clifford and Roger Covin.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to MLA Gordie Gosse for all of his help.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held on Friday, Nov. 28, 2014, at 2 p.m. in the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home Chapel, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney, with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks.
