PIERCEY, Alma Joyce (nee Rowe) — August 25, 1940 - January 9, 2009 — Passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness, surrounded by her loved ones at the Health Science Complex on Friday, January 9, 2009, Joyce Piercey of Hopeall, aged 68 years. Predeceased by her daughters: Carol Piercey (Baldwin) and Beverly Joy Piercey; her parents: Alfred and Bessie Rowe, and her brother, Vincent. Leaving to mourn are her husband of 51 years, Reg, and her children: Todd (Jackie), Judy (Tony); seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, as well as her brother, Graham (Lottie). She is also lovingly remembered by a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Resting at Warren’s Funeral Home with visitation for family and friends pending arrival of family. The funeral service will be held from First United Church in Hopeall at a date and time to be announced. Cremation will follow.
