Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre after a long and courageous battle. Alan kept his joy for life with amazing strength, dignity, and sense of humour. Predeceased by father Charles Walter Henry and sister Louise Henry, leaving to mourn cherished wife Jie Henry, Mother Ruby Henry, In-laws Yingshi Xiong & Hong Zhang, fairly odd mother Jan Peyton White, aunt & uncle Marjorie & Harold Hannon, aunt Winnie Newbury, sister Anne Henry (Robin Davis), brother Charles Henry, special brothers Roderick (Colleen) Stockley, Craig (Lori) O'Brien, and many beloved family and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Rd. Visitation on Sunday (7-9pm), Monday (2-4pm, 7-9pm), Tuesday (10am-12pm). Funeral Service will take place at Caul's Chapel on Tuesday December 2, 2014 at 2pm, followed by a celebration of Alan's life at the Free Masons' Hall Banquet Room, Masonic Park Mount Pearl from 4pm. Flowers graciously accepted (Alan's favorites are white and yellow roses), or donations may be made to the Association for New Canadians.
