It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret (Margie) Brake-Haugland announce her passing at her home at the age of 54 years. She was predeceased by her mother Bonita Thomson-Brake and sister Dianne Dory. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Don (Alf) Haugland; brothers: Michael Brake (Dale Earle), Charlie Thomson, and Harold Thomson (Ruby Coombs), all of Corner Brook, NL; nieces: Brenda, Katarina, Dakota, Summer, Brooke-Lynn, and Diaina (goddaughter); nephews: Michael Jr., Charlie Jr., Mackenzie, Jaden, AyJay, and Patrick; in laws from Norway and a large circle of other relatives and special friends. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Tuesday between the hours of 2-4 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will take place from the Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 2 p.m. officiated by the Very Reverend Baxter Park, with interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made in Margaret’s memory to the Diabetes Association.
