COLIN B. GILLIS
We, the family of the late Colin B. Gillis, would like to express our sincerest gratitude to the many people who helped ease the pain of losing our Dad. The outpouring of support, sympathy and generosity was a great source of comfort to us all. To everyone who was able to attend the funeral, gifts of food, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, made donations, online messages, telephone calls and prayers, we will remember your thoughtfulness. Special thanks to Ann and Danny MacDougall and Edith and Alan Cummings for being there for our Dad and Colleen. Thank you to Fr. Norman MacPhee, the choir of St. Leonard’s, the altar servicers who took part in the Mass, the Piper Corey MacPherson, the Von, County Homecare Workers, Palliative Care Society, doctors and nurses of New Waterford Hospital and to V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home for their understanding, compassion and professionalism as they helped us cope with our great loss.
