Passed away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Monday, December 1, 2014, George Benson of Come By Chance, aged 68 years. Pre deceased by his parents Daniel and Mamie Benson. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Tilly of 47 years; daughter Paula (Tom), Come By Chance; son Rodney (Sandi), Edmonton, AB; grandchildren Kristie Lynn and Cody Collins; sister Judy (John), Prince Edward Island; brothers Frank (Dinah), Come By Chance, Rex (Sandra), Come By Chance, Gordon (Corrina), Labrador City and Ralph (Paulette), Gander; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Rested at St. Paul’s Church, Come By Chance. Funeral service took place on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at St. Paul’s Anglican/United Church with interment at the Interfaith Cemetery, Come By Chance. In his memory donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
