Card, Katherine Mary “Kaye”, age 84, of Windsor, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2014, at the R.E.A.L. Residence, Windsor. Born on March 29, 1930, in Centre Burlington, Hants County, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Mann Card and Mary Eulalie (Nunn) Card. Kaye was formerly employed for over 25 years in the office at CKF Inc., Hantsport, until she retired. Previously she had also worked at Stephens & Yeaton’s Auto Dealership, Windsor. She enjoyed travelling, playing cards and loved gardening, and most of all visiting and keeping in contact with her many friends. Kaye is survived by many cousins. She was predeceased by her brothers, James Card (Feb. 29/2012) and a brother in infancy, Lockhart Card. Cremation has taken place under the care of Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, P.O. Box 2218, Windsor, NS, B0N 2T0. A graveside service was at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 7, 2014, at the Centre Burlington Cemetery, Highway 215, Centre Burlington. The Rev. Debra Mosher officiated, followed by a reception at the Summerville & District Volunteer Fire Department Hall.
