Passed peacefully away on Dec. 3, 2014 Clara Torraville of Whitbourne, age 99 years, formerly of Fogo and Change Islands. Predeceased by her husband Stanley and daughter Isabel. Leaving to give thanks for her long life are son, Max at Botwood, daughters Sybil Knee, Badger's Quay, Madge (Roy Chipman), Conception Bay South, Eva (Guy Oake), Mount Pearl, and her friends at Karwood Retirement Retreat where she resided for the past five years. 20 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren. Also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Holloway's Funeral Home, Whitbourne. Visitation on Friday 10:00 am - 9:30 pm. Saturday 10:00am until time of funeral. Funeral service will take place on Saturday at 2:00 pm from the St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Whitbourne. Interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Whitbourne.
