Passed peacefully away at Agnes Pratt Nursing home on December 3, 2014; aged 68. Predeceased by her parents Stanley and Alma Hoffe; brother-in-law Ernest Higgins. Leaving to mourn daughters Pam (Darryl) Ryan and granddaughters Selena and Sydney Ryan, son Scott O'Keefe, grandson Matthew Stone, great grand-daughter Marissa Kearsey, son Ross (Tal) O'Keefe and grandsons Connor and Calen O'Keefe, Patrick O'Keefe (father of Scott, Pamela and Ross). Beloved sister Bride Higgins; brothers Glen (Linda) Hoffe; Dennis (Barb) Hoffe. Nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends, including a special friend, Kim Stone. And not to be forgotten, Eileen's little dog Max whom she dearly loved. A special thank you to Bride (sister), Glen (brother) and Linda (sister-in-law) for their love and support on this journey. Words cannot express our deepest thanks for the love and care and dignity shown to our beloved mother in her final days by the truly dedicated tireless staff of the Agnes Pratt Nursing Home. At Eileen's request cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving visitors at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Thursday, December 4 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Friday, December 5 at 11 a.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel.
