Hannah Senior (nee Loughlin)
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing, surrounded by her family and friends, of our dear mother and grandmother, Hannah Senior, age 94 years. Predeceased by her loving husband of 71 years, Jack (2012); daughter Shirley and son-in-law Seymour Chafe; brother, John; and sister, Lily Mae. Leaving to mourn her son, Albert (Heather); daughter Susanne (Jack); nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; sister, Mary and brother-in-law, Willis Clarke; loving cousin, Lillian Barfoot; cousin, Jim Loughlin; niece, Mamie (Ray) Wyatt; best friend and companion, Deannie Gosse; as well as extended family and friends. By Hannah's request, a private family ceremony was held at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Monday, December 8, 2014, and she has been laid to rest at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Road. The service was officiated by Majors Woodrow and Maxine Boyde, whom she dearly loved. The family would like to extend their thanks for all the loving care from Saint Luke's Nursing Staff. Also to Deannie Gosse and Lillian Barfoot for all their friendship and hours spent with our Mom over the past couple of years since our Dad passed. Special mention, also, to Ruth Dixon, Sherry Dixon and Renee Smith for all of their loving care. As expressions of sympathy, donations in our mother's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Children's Wish Foundation.
