LALONDE, ROBERT A. - 1937 – 2014 - Robert A. Lalonde of Riverview, passed away at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital on Tuesday, December 9, 2014. Born in Cornwall, ON, Robert was the son of the late James and Mary Lalonde. He attended St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, and was an active member of the Men’s Club and The Vestry. Robert spent most of his working career in collections. Robert is survived by his daughter; Debbie Bastarache, of Riverview, son-in-law Sherman Bastarache, son Tim Lalonde (Francine Breen) of Greenwood, NS, three grandchildren; Tiffany, Alicia and Hunter, one great-granddaughter; Hailey, as well as, former wife Beulah Lalonde.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives on Friday, December 12, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview (869-2007). Celebration of Robert’s life will take place at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Woolridge Ave., Riverview, on Saturday, December 13, at 1:00 pm with the Archdeacon Brent Ham officiating.
