ROCHFORD, EILEEN MARY - It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Eileen Rochford of Fredericton, NB on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in Montreal, QC she was the daughter of the late Henry and Ida (Jorgensen) Rochford. Eileen was a very faithful woman and over the years belonged to the Lincoln UCW and the Gentle Shepherd Women. She was also involved with Campus Ministry at UNB and was a leader of the Arthritis Self-Management Group. Eileen will be missed by her daughters, Karen Grant (Kirby) of Fredericton, NB and Jennifer Cattani-Seeley (Gregg) of Rockland, ON; her sisters, Catherine Brewer (Terry) of Fredericton, NB and Karen Wilson (John) of Perth, ON; her grandsons, Matthew and Adam Grant, and Liam and Harrison Seeley as well as nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at McAdam’s Funeral Home, 160 York Street on Sunday, December 14, 2014 from 2 to 5 pm. A memorial service will be held at the Gentle Shepherd Community Church, 870 Grandame Street on Monday, December 15, 2014 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Scott Kohler will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in Eileen’s honor may be made to the Fredericton Extra Mural Program; Gentle Shepherd Community Church or the York Foundation – Chapel project.
