ALLAIN, DORIS - Doris Allain, 81, of Dieppe, passed away peacefully at The Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital on Wednesday, December 10, 2014. Born in Sudbury, ON, she was the daughter of the late John and Claira (Desjardin) Lowe. Doris was a former bartender. Doris will be sadly missed by her son, Ron Allain of Dieppe; daughter, Lynn of Ontario; grandchildren, Brett, Dylan and Kurt; great granddaughter, Marley-Ann; brothers and sisters, John Lowe, Jr. (late Donna), Leonard Lowe (late Lillian), Claire Belland (late Gerry), Shirley Thibodeau (Tony), Rhea Hall (Tommy), Eddie Lowe (Janet), Henry Lowe (Noella), Danny Lowe (Cathy), Linda Daoust (Willie), Mary Lowe (Tony), Patsy Laframbois (late Pat), Beverly Lowe (Kauko), Michael Lowe (Polly), Peter Lowe; brother-in-law, Mike Chizda; special friends, Verna, Laura and the Salty Sea Dog Crew. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Allain (2012); daughter, Darnell Guy (1999); sisters, Dorina Chizda and Margaret Flesch; brother-in-law, Andy Flesch.
Sharing of Memories for Doris will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Reception Centre, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Sunday, December 14, 2014 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery in the spring. In memory of Doris, donations to the CHU Dumont Foundation (Palliative Care) or a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
