Passed peacefully away at Winter Holme Manor, Winterton, on Thursday, March 20th, 2008, Robert N. Walker, age 93 years. Predeceased by his wives, Minnie Julia (Cross) 1994 and Minnie Mae (Hiscock) 1941. His parents Leah and Eugene Walker, brothers William, Gordon, Thomas, and Edgar and sister Rachel Tucker and son-in-law Harry P. Burt. Leaving to mourn daughters Elizabeth Hiscock, Montreal; Alma Burt, Harbour Grace; Sandra (Raymond) Legge, Whiteway; Sylvia (George) Button, Lead Cove; sons Robert (Rose) and Clayton (Waunnetta), both of Grand Prairie, AB; and Gordon, St. John's. Ten grandchildren: Vera, Vernon (Shelley), John (Cindy), Charmaine (John), Danielle (Darren), Rae-Ann, Barry (Donna), Lori (Bernie), Jody (Julie) and Chad (Nicole) and 10 great-grandchildren; sister Mabel Anderson, Corner Brook; sister-in-law Cloey Walker, Winterton. He was a member of the SUF lodge #2 of Winterton for 69 years. Resting at Green's Funeral Home, Winterton, on Saturday and Sunday 2-5 p.m. and 7-10 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, March 24th at 2 p.m. from St. Luke's Anglican, Winterton. Interment to follow in St. Luke's Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to St. Luke's Memorial Fund.May His Soul Rest In Peace
