Peacefully, at the Beach Grove Home, Charlottetown, the passing of Annabelle Brown, age 95, of Montague, formerly of Murray River, wife of the late George “Franklin” Brown, occurred on Monday, December 15, 2014, with family by her side.
Annabelle was born in South Granville, P.E.I., on March 10, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Malcolm and Maria MacLeod. She is survived by her children Ronald (Beverley), Nancy (Harold) Pollard, Malcolm (Barb Dunphy); son-in-law, Wade MacMillan; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a daughter, Vivian. Annabelle was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home, with visitation on Thursday, December 18, from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral service to be held on Friday, December 19, at 11 a.m., from the funeral home chapel. Interment to take place in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hunter River.
